Introduction:

MPower Kernow C.I.C. (MPKC) is a new social enterprise established to create a unique technical training centre for science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM); Construction Industry and Environmental Technology Skills.

“MPower Kernow C.I.C. will provide practical, equal opportunity learning opportunities and work experiences for the community of Cornwall to gain the real-life STEM, Construction Industry and Environmental Technology skills required to meet the international economic demand for highly skilled personnel and to meet Cornwall’s Climate Emergency Goals”.
OUR TEAM
MPKC has been established by Duncan Mitchell and Mervyn Allcock MBE to create a unique technical training centre for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and construction industry skills. They are supported by a highly experienced team of non-executive directors and management.
Duncan Mitchell
Founder and Managing Director
Duncan is a Merchant Navy chief engineer with 25 years of marine engineering and project engineering experience onboard ships and in shipyards.
Mervyn Allcock
Commercial Director
Mervyn brings over 30 years of railway and project management experience from the highly regarded regeneration of Barrow Hill Roundhouse near Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
